Serious Thought on "Karma"

I believe in Karma - 'what you give is what you get returned!!!', but is that all is KARMA.......I doubt!

'Sow an action, reap a habit.
Sow a habit, reap a character.
Sow a character, reap a destiny.'

Yep, To me 'Karma' is a cause of what happens to you, probably resulting from past actions & behaviours.Scientifically, Law of Cause & Effect-for every effect in our lives, there is a cause, or series of specific identifiable causes. It's something like Newton's third law --> "For every action, there is equal & opposite reaction" .....:) Now this is what Mom means when she says "Everything happens for a Reason",& atleast i could always trace back the reasons few years later.....:)

I have seen all those who had hurt my sentiments or troubled me $%%&@%&^ have suffered their bit. I have got to either see or hear about the same .... yeppie ....... :)Also, I have been punished for all the wrong i have done ..:( I have repented. Yes....True that deeds yield consequences either in the next second, in the next hour, day, month, year, decade, or even in the next lifetime, or in another distant lifetime. What goes around, comes around.

I agree...It is not very easy to understand or really straight forward. The theories differ - Accdg to Hindu Mythology, it acts as a debt : Say positive debts & negative debts scenario...addressed as positive karma & negative karma respectively.....but Socrates has his own argument to this:he introduces an element of expectation to creation of karma.....and Buddhism encourages 'observe & ignore' method of karmics!

Some say Bad Karma is when you do something bad to someone then they will do something bad to you, whereas some other say Bad Karma incurs when if you do something "bad" to someone & you feel guilty for having done that or the person whom you did bad to feels the need for revenge.Even blame or complain or harsh actions, thoughts results in negative/bad karma.
To my surprise, even "Good Karma" isn't something to be desired in life. The enlightened view is always to neutralize all karma. So when doing good deeds, shall do so without expectations. This attitude leads to no karmic affects.

Btw not just individuals, even lineage's carry karma along....So....It's an unavoidable consequence!!!RAAZZZ Pechale Janam ka types......hehehe..

Yep you hoping though, you had a hand in doin' the doin',
The conclusion of the evil, that you ended and start pursuin',
coz..no ain't no running, ain't no running from Karma!!
Remember that what goes around comes around,as God is watching you and everythin' that you do......

So...Let's all try to get liberated....encompass One Mind, God-Consciousness, Universal Love as our MANTRA....

And If we don't have liberation as a goal, we should at least do good works to help others from their immediate suffering. Every good action, thought or word creates positive karma, so even a kind smile or uplifting thought towards someone is beneficial. Being kind, as a means to create positive karma for ourselves, would essentially seem be a selfish act, and ultimately it is.

Just tried to check my Karmic Alignment from one of the web freebie .... seems & looks good to me...:):):)However, Perfection can always be improved...hehehe....just kidding...:)

My Karmic Alignment is: Zen Intuition!
Score: 16 You have a direct perception of truth. You are very keen and don't use it to take advantage. When you commit positive deeds, you don't do them to get ahead, you do positive deeds simply because it makes you feel good. Your intentions are almost always meant well and all this positive karmaic energy is bound to come back to you in a great way!
