Serious Thought on "Karma"

I believe in Karma - 'what you give is what you get returned!!!', but is that all is KARMA.......I doubt!

'Sow an action, reap a habit.
Sow a habit, reap a character.
Sow a character, reap a destiny.'

Yep, To me 'Karma' is a cause of what happens to you, probably resulting from past actions & behaviours.Scientifically, Law of Cause & Effect-for every effect in our lives, there is a cause, or series of specific identifiable causes. It's something like Newton's third law --> "For every action, there is equal & opposite reaction" .....:) Now this is what Mom means when she says "Everything happens for a Reason",& atleast i could always trace back the reasons few years later.....:)

I have seen all those who had hurt my sentiments or troubled me $%%&@%&^ have suffered their bit. I have got to either see or hear about the same .... yeppie ....... :)Also, I have been punished for all the wrong i have done ..:( I have repented. Yes....True that deeds yield consequences either in the next second, in the next hour, day, month, year, decade, or even in the next lifetime, or in another distant lifetime. What goes around, comes around.

I agree...It is not very easy to understand or really straight forward. The theories differ - Accdg to Hindu Mythology, it acts as a debt : Say positive debts & negative debts scenario...addressed as positive karma & negative karma respectively.....but Socrates has his own argument to this:he introduces an element of expectation to creation of karma.....and Buddhism encourages 'observe & ignore' method of karmics!

Some say Bad Karma is when you do something bad to someone then they will do something bad to you, whereas some other say Bad Karma incurs when if you do something "bad" to someone & you feel guilty for having done that or the person whom you did bad to feels the need for revenge.Even blame or complain or harsh actions, thoughts results in negative/bad karma.
To my surprise, even "Good Karma" isn't something to be desired in life. The enlightened view is always to neutralize all karma. So when doing good deeds, shall do so without expectations. This attitude leads to no karmic affects.

Btw not just individuals, even lineage's carry karma along....So....It's an unavoidable consequence!!!RAAZZZ Pechale Janam ka types......hehehe..

Yep you hoping though, you had a hand in doin' the doin',
The conclusion of the evil, that you ended and start pursuin',
coz..no ain't no running, ain't no running from Karma!!
Remember that what goes around comes around,as God is watching you and everythin' that you do......

So...Let's all try to get liberated....encompass One Mind, God-Consciousness, Universal Love as our MANTRA....

And If we don't have liberation as a goal, we should at least do good works to help others from their immediate suffering. Every good action, thought or word creates positive karma, so even a kind smile or uplifting thought towards someone is beneficial. Being kind, as a means to create positive karma for ourselves, would essentially seem be a selfish act, and ultimately it is.

Just tried to check my Karmic Alignment from one of the web freebie .... seems & looks good to me...:):):)However, Perfection can always be improved...hehehe....just kidding...:)

My Karmic Alignment is: Zen Intuition!
Score: 16 You have a direct perception of truth. You are very keen and don't use it to take advantage. When you commit positive deeds, you don't do them to get ahead, you do positive deeds simply because it makes you feel good. Your intentions are almost always meant well and all this positive karmaic energy is bound to come back to you in a great way!

Why Can't I Remember That Word !!!

As i hear Boyzone's song "WORDS".....”It's only words; And words are all I have, to take your heart away!!! Talk, in everlasting words......”and as the song goes on....

I wonder, as to why & literally WHY can’t I remember that word – 'THAT RIGHT WORD' at the right time in the right context.....:( ,,,,,yep that word suddenly and perplexingly go missing from brain only to reappear minutes or hours later .....

Is it Amnesia ; Cognitive Blockage, Neuropsychology or Memory Disorder;...:)... I have no Clue ... hic..hic.. ....All I know is ....... Trying to hold a conversation about a movie, I can remember everyone that hero or heroine dated, married and all the brands she /he endorses, their co-stars in previous movies & probably parents or children even before I recollect ...damn......“THE MOVIE TITLE” or “ACTORS”...:) :) :)

This natural tendency of mine to forget words & especially the “PROPER NOUNS” is highly frustrating. Yep.. I hate and I am fed up of these tip-of-the-tongue experiences :(

Recently I was in this situation in a Mumbai western suburb mall (HYPERCITY) where I happen to bump into my old colleague, whom I was just too overwhelmed to meet........ oohhh ........ hhhiiii ......heeyyyyy.....look who’s here.......etc... etc...And I can’t just remember ‘THE NAME’ – To add to that she could fluently recollect & call me by name....... And over that I had to introduce my hubby to her.............OMG............Awkward!!!

In my search to really gain insights into this vulnerability of proper names to memory retrieval, i happen to read,’ 7 reasons as to why you can’t remember names’ by bil clenna; took some neuro-marketing exercises on net; Brain training games; also, learnt some tricks to avoid further insult to injury from some of self-helping blogs....:)/// Also have started to take memory tonics, pills & walnuts....hahaha....Lol ...oh Really...seriously..:).

Realised it’s a self-limiting misconception. If u think u can, then u can or if you think you cannot, you r probably right...Lol.:)....No Kidding!!!
This difference between a stranger & a friend / a prospect & a client / ‘that guy’ to Amit, my college friend / ‘this place near that circle’ to Courtyard Marriot near Talwalkars circle.... is really Valuable !!! Trust Me and specially more when your profession is "HR"...hahaha:)

Very True .. I can’t continue to make excuses or apologise to people !!!
Hence writing to all of you & would appreciate sharing of u'r experiences if any along with remedies for my HELP...:) as I no longer intend to leave sentences trailing into oblivion.......

“Watch your Thoughts, for they become WORDS,
Watch your WORDS, for they become actions,
Watch your actions, for they become habits,
Watch your habits, for they become character,
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

Wake Up Early - Snoozy....

As the saying goes...
“Lose an hour in the morning, and you will be all day hunting for it.” ~Richard Whately

“One key to success is to have lunch at the time of day when most people have breakfast.” ~Robert Brault

Well more famous one...
Early to bed & early to rise makes a man healthy; wealthy & wise...........For all smart cookies....out there......... this is applicable to woman, girls, boys, kids, child, teenagers everybody..not just “man”

One Happy/Sad Realisation 4 me:
I cross my heart & say...I am not a morning person at all. Infact, I hate getting up before 8.00am and if i could or rather situations permits, i would probably sleep (actually love to sleep) until 10am everyday.I am not too sure of whether i am a night owl by nature or hate being an early bird, but too often (specially after becoming so-called ‘independent’) it is ’late to bed, late to rise’ for me. I would comfortably blame it on hustle & bustle of everyday life.

Truly Snoozing S@%ks- I have an instinctive ability of being able to slap an alarmclock or soft-touch ‘ok’ on i-phone without actually rising out of ..........‘state of relatively suspended sensory and motor activity, characterized by total or partial unconsciousness and the inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles. It is distinguished from quiet wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, and it is more easily reversible than hibernation or coma. It is a heightened anabolic state, accentuating the growth and rejuvenation of the immune, nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. It is observed in all mammals, all birds, and many reptiles, amphibians, and fish.’..........aasaan baasha mein ‘sleep’ (3 idiots.... pun intented)!.
My record :: 2 hours of consecutive snoozing one morning >>>I know, but my mentally water-logged brain is not rational enough in any way to understand that this snoozed sleep is not restful in anyways!!!

Can’t help being a science student – As per theory of Static Friction:::”The force of static friction is a reaction force in that its value depends upon the magnitude of some external force trying to push the object along the surface .”--> very true.....i meant..... applicable & hence proved .

Looking back i always had a great magnitude of some external force for waking up early – Detain if no attendance@School at 7.30am;Punch-in for salary@Office at 8am; Strict Sports Master@ Practice at 6.00am; Compulsory attendance @dance class;Stern Sanskrit Pandit; Strange & Unpredictable Punishment for not attending yoga classes(Prof. Pillai ‘s students would know); Not to miss cheaper early morning Flights; And not to forget last minute preparations for series of tests/exams.

U See.....we mere mortals need collaterals.

Some Lucky People -However, If you are a person who naturally get up before daybreak....yep......i meant ...... 5.30am, then count yourself 'Lucky' – Society is on your side. By ‘Society’ i mean ................
mummy, papa, uncles, aunties, cousins, MIL, FIL, neighbours, boss, other superiors in office, famous personalities, family tagged achievers, productivity gurus, lifestyle preachers, personality development writers.......& even maids/ milkman/ paperwala/ pets .....etc.......etc......

Though Ignorance is bliss -
Yes, Couldn’t any longer ignore the correlation between SUCCESS & RISING EARLY.
Becoming an early riser has become a holy writ among more than a few personality development writers like Robin Sharma, Shiv Khera, Dale Carngie, Jim Clemmer or Paul Coelho. And how to become an early riser have been among most popular posts by self-help bloggers like Steve Pavilion, Glen Stansberry, Arina Nikitina & others.
In my keen journey to understand Why Mornings Matter, i happen to comprehend
• Secret of how to become an early riser through Kundaliyoga......
• 33 ways to start your day........
• Why one should wake up early & 21 tips to do so................
• 30 days habit change................
• Motivation & ways to wake up early..............
• 24 tips to become an early riser..............
• etc..
• etc..

Duh!........yep i did read each one of them..... ZILCH.....Still am not convinced as to how someone can unleash their energy in a specific task or keep a positive attitude through the day just by being an early riser;

CAN ANYONE SUCCEED DESPITE WORKING AGAINST THE BETTER JUDGEMENT OF THEIR BODY?
OR
IS THAT I CAN NEVER TASTE SUCCESS B’COS OF BEING A LATE RISER?

Don’t know what rewards hide behind this door which i am hesitant to open – but would definitely like to hear your opinions on the same!!!

Awaiting Enlightenment..................................
